Many KGH Foundation initiatives focus on helping children and youth, which aligns well with Kelowna Foundation's purpose. In 2017, KF worked closely with KGH Foundation and CMHA on the "Not Alone" campaign, which raised $2 million to build Foundry Kelowna. Thanks to these efforts, we now have a place dedicated to mental health and substance use support for youth in our community.

Another great initiative Kelowna Foundation and KGH Foundation partnered on was JoeAnna's House. Every year, thousands of families travel to Kelowna in order for a family member to receive life-saving care at KGH. Keeping families together during these very difficult times is important. JoeAnna's House is a home away from home for families travelling for care at KGH.

Cops for Kids is most famous for their Cops for Kids Ride, their signature annual fundraising event. This grueling 10-day, 1,000 km ride occurs each year over some very challenging terrain. This charitable foundation exists to assist children in the Southern BC Interior Region that have suffered a medical, physical or traumatic crisis in their young lives.
