Tom Mauro is the founder and CEO of Albi Homes Ltd. As the builder of more than 4,000 luxury homes in the Calgary area, Tom’s expertise in development and building to suit his customers was his passion. In 2015, Albi Homes was sold to Brookfield Residental. Tom and his wife Debra have a home in Kelowna. While in Calgary, both Tom and Debra were active, energetic drivers of a number of community causes and leadership in the “Big Toys for Big Boys” fundraiser, and also leading the Vatican Restoration Society – Canadian Chapters activities.
A lasting and long term contribution to the Calgary community was leading the formation, build-out and now operating the Calgary Child Advocacy Centre. Now known as the Sheldon Kennedy Child Advocacy Centre in Calgary, Debra is the Co-Chair of the SKCAC board and Tom is co-Chair of the building committee.
